Abstract

In acid rain formation there are the two main mass transfer processes (scavenging of atmospheric pollutants). The one is the rainout and the other is the washout. The purpose of this study is to clear the indistinct effects of the concurrent washout of pollutant gases SOg(g) andHNOs(g) on the nonsteady acidification process of rain- drops.
