Abstract

Development of a three dimensonal gas/aerosol atmospheric (Meso-NHC) model is presented. This model is based on on-line coupling between a mesoscale meteorological model (Meso-NH, Lafore et al., 1998) and various gas/aerosol modules: gas phase chemistry (RACM, Stockwell et al., 1998), aerosol dynamics and chemistry (with a neural network procedure). Every one of these modules has been developed and implemented within the mesoscale model to get a good compromise between accuracy and computing time.
