Abstract

In the paper, we are presenting details on introducing the Internet technology to the computerized environmental monitoring systems. As an example, we are giving our own experiences with building an interactive Internet data presentation and analysis software for the radiological system of Krsko Nuclear Power Plant, Slovenia. Introduction State of the human environment concerns both, experts and general public. The way of presenting the environmental information to them, however, differs. Public information should be available widely, normally in a predetermined, easy-to-understand form. On the other side, data for the expert or scientific use correspond to the restricted community that can request them in a variety of sophisticated, usually interactive way
