Abstract

Ozone is ordinarily measured by the air quality monitoring network; despite of the classification of type of measuring site, often the local peculiarity of the sites affects the quality of ozone measurement. With the aim to characterize the ozone monitoring site, physical-chemical indexes concerning the NOi/NO* ratio, the creation or depletion of ozone and the behaviour of the conservative parameter O%, defined as the sum of O% and NO:, have been calculated; these indexes have been applied to a number of ozone summer data series, belonging to the monitoring networks of
