Abstract

In the present work we treat a procedure to evaluate and to forecast critical pollution events in the area of Ravenna (Italy). This procedure is based on the use of the Gaussian model ISC and of pollution roses elaborated by a wide spread detection network for the control of air quality The detection network consists of 15 stations which control the pollution concentration in the air in accordance with the Italian law.
