Abstract

A detailed description of the objectives and structure of the emission inventory in the Netherlands is given. The emissions of the environmental policy performance indicators for the environmental themes have been transformed into equivalent units. In that way the relative contributions of the different target groups can be shown for the total emissions relevant for the environmental themes. The results are compared with the target values in the National Environmental Policy Plan*. Finally geographical patterns of emission densities are presented. 1.
