Abstract

Unilateral dynamic contact problem with friction is stated and analysed. Different friction models are considered. Variational formulation in an effec- tive mixed lagrangean-eulerean description is used. Incremental approach, FEM procedure and Newmark method of time integration are applied to solve the problem. Numerical results for several examples are given. 1 Introduction In the paper a frictional contact of two elastic bodies undergoing large de- formations in presence of motion will be considered. Different contact and friction models (Signorini conditions, normal compliance response, constant and varying friction coefficient) are taken into account. For generality it is assumed, that a material singular surface (Szefer[4]) may appear on the boundary. Thi
