Abstract The sustainable development concerns all socio-economical agents. Nowadays, most actions are limited to the manufacturing sector. But the question of environmental management and sustainable development has to be extended, and addressed to the service sector. As a major capital of Europe, Brussels has to play a fundamental role in promoting sustainable development.
