Abstract

The boundary integral equation employed in boundary element method can be applied for infinite regions, provided certain regularity conditions concerning the behaviour of unknown functions are fulfilled [1], In the present paper a boundery element method has been developed for the function which has certain discrete singularity both at the infi- nite and internal points. An integral equation for that function has been derived by using Caushy's integral for complex functions. A detailed de- scription of the numerical algorithmis followed by the illustration of its application to a number of flow problems around the arbitrary plane body, Introduction Flow problems have been significantly investigated and can be solved by various methods both analytically and numarically. As a powerful tool for numerical analysing of thes
