Abstract

The symbolic operation with AWAemoa'm is utilized for the electromag- netic wave optimization problems. Wire array configuration is frequently employed as a shielding, scattering, guiding and focusing structure in elec- tromagnetic wave applications. The electromagnetic wave scattering from wire array is considered. One is the array made of identical electrically conductive wires in parallel and another is the array made of coaxial loops. The question is to find their dimensions such as the distance between the wires that minimize or maximize the scattered electric field at an observa- tion point of interest, The paper presents how Mo^enWzm is effectively utilized for the evaluation of the equations involved to achieve the optimiza- tion. 1 Introduction Numerical simulation has increasingly been utilized fo
