Abstract

There are a lot of reports and materials of Mathematica for undergraduates. But few of them are for high school students. So I have collected some examples of Math for high school students by using Mathematica. For students there is difficulty in thinking and grasping 3 dimensional objects and something with infinite operations. So I have tried to give some impressions and suggestions by their graphs and animation. 1 Introduction I pick up a problem about the envelope of lines family. First I sketch some graphs of one functionX*,.y,0 = 0 which has a parameter t. I call this Impression. Usually there are lines with respect to x,y coordinates, in order to avoid unnecessary difficulties. I show the animation of these graphs by changing the value of the parameter. Secondly I sketch some graphs ofj(x,y,t) = 0 with i
