Abstract

The purpose of this work is to develop an operational method to document that a power plant complies with the Air Quality Guideline for sulphur by means of dispersion modelling, and at the same time ensure that the power plant can use different fuels with varying sulphur content. 1. INTRODUCTION In 1992 a new environmental order* was issued in Denmark. As a consequence of the act many older industrial enterprises which had never had any environmental approval now had to have one. This implied that more older power plants in Denmark now also had to obtain an environmental approval. Consequently the air pollution impact has been examined.
