Landscapes have always reflected changing populations, fluctuating needs, and evolving technologies. This volume focuses on landscape perspectives and related development scenarios. The contributors concentrate mainly on future activities in integrated landscape research and monitoring an area of importance for finding solutions for sustainable land use and providing adequate bases for planning and policy making.
